Calligraphy workshop with Anina Rubio slated on February 27

During the workshop, participants can learn the basics of decorative handwriting, from choosing nibs and papers, learning strokes and textures, and perfecting the art of lettering using a pen and brush. They can also explore the romance of handwriting while immortalizing their own personal messages, or replicating phrases from historical love letters from the Filipinas Heritage Library.

Ayala Museum announced that it will host a calligraphy workshop with Anina Rubio this February 27, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN.

During the workshop, participants can learn the basics of decorative handwriting, from choosing nibs and papers, learning strokes and textures, and perfecting the art of lettering using a pen and brush. They can also explore the romance of handwriting while immortalizing their own personal messages, or replicating phrases from historical love letters from the Filipinas Heritage Library.

Rubio is recognized as a modern calligrapher.

The workshop fee is P3,500 inclusive of materials, handouts, snacks. Deadline for payment is February 20. A 10-percent discount will be given to those who will pay in full on or before the deadline. Ayala Museum and Acentives members can avail of a 10-percent discount.
