After a KickStarter campaign and rave reviews from its time on the film festival circuit, the ground-breaking independent film ToY has debuted using video-on-demand platforms.
Now on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and other on-demand networks, ToY is available for at-home viewing. The film project, directed by the award-winning Patrick Chapman and produced by Lije Sarki, captures audiences with sexy imagery, an engaging love story and acting prowess led by actresses Briana Evigan (Step Up Series) and Kerry Norton (Battlestar Galactica).
In ToY, we meet Chloe (Evigan) – a young, talented and wealthy visual artist with a host of insecurities and a secret she’s willing to take with her to the grave. Her latest artistic project has introduced her to Kat (Norton); an aging sex worker with deep-rooted issues of her own. ToY beautifully chronicles two lost souls who find love amidst their differences while also exploring the dark effects of love; challenging viewers to ponder if love can indeed conquer all and furthermore, can love heal the broken?
Audiences have praised the film for its depictions of the use and misuse of power as well as its portrayal of struggle.
“Director Patrick Chapman weaves a powerful tale of unrealized dreams, the disappointment of failure, and coming to terms with the desires of our hearts,” said Michael Rabehl of Cinequest.
