Call for entries to ASEAN photo, docu film fest 2013

ASEAN 2013

There are four categories in the festival, namely Photos, Photo Group, Reportage and Documentary Film. Participants may be an organization, group of authors or individuals who are citizens of an ASEAN member country. Winners of the Festival will be awarded medals, trophies and certificates as well as cash prizes. Awarding ceremony is on December 17.

Subject matter of the entries must carry the theme of the festival, “Environmental Protection and Climate Change in ASEAN Community.”

The festival aims to promote the building of a sustainable clean and green ASEAN through photos and video reports and documentaries that highlight the achievements in environmental protection. It also seeks to honor the contribution of individuals and organizations from all ASEAN member countries to environmental protection activities in the region.

This year, the event will be hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications’ Center for Press and International Cooperation.
