CCP announces recipients of 2015 Local Tour Grants Program

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) thru its Cultural Exchange Department has announced the recipients of its 2015 Local Tour Grants Program.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) thru its Cultural Exchange Department has announced the recipients of its 2015 Local Tour Grants Program.

CCP2From Mindanao:  MSU-IIT Octava Choral Society (Iligan City);  Kaliwat Performing Arts Collective (Davao City); Next Moves Modern Dance Company (Cagayan de Oro City); Kuntaw Mindanao (Tagum City-Davao del Norte);  From Visayas: Artista Sillimania (Dumaguete City).  From Luzon:  Barasoain Kalinangan Foundation (Malolos City-Bulacan).

Each of the grantees will receive a tour grant of Php60,000 each to enable them to implement a short tour and render two performances with audience interaction of their local productions within or outside their community between July-August this year.

Through the Local Tour Grants Program, the CCP CED endeavors to support and motivate local cultural performing groups to achieve artistic excellence and promote local art and cultural expressions in various venues and communities and more importantly, present the flourishing of arts and culture in the regions.
