New York City’s Metropolitan Opera is rolling out a tenth week of free whole operas for home viewers every night, largely drawn from its popular series Live in HD.
The Met’s lineup for May 18 through May 24 includes classics by Mozart, Wagner, Puccini, Verdi, Gounod and Massenet. The performances go live each night on the Met’s website at 7:30pm EDT, and may also be viewed through the Met Opera on Demand app. Each video stays up for 23 hours (until 6:30pm EDT the next day).
