The concert will also feature guest performers such as mezzo soprano Jai S. Aracama, UP Cherubim and Seraphim, UP Concert Chorus, UP Singing Ambassadors, UP Staff Chorale and UP Chorus Classes.
On December 18, at 6pm, the PPO will bring the excitement of live orchestra music to the men in uniforms at the Lapu-Lapu Grand Hall in Camp Aguinaldo. The free concert is in partnership with the Department of National Defense, led by Secretary Delfin Lorenzana.
The PPO continues its outreach program in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija on December 20, through the support of the local government headed by Mayor Nestor Alvarez. It will be followed by its annual charity concert at the Philippine General Hospital on January 23, 2019.
More than just continuing its mandate to promote music appreciation throughout the country, the resident orchestra company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines aims to provide world-class performance of diverse, yet accessible classical musical entertainment that enriches different audiences, the Filipino communities, and the orchestra itself.
