PPO’s virtual pocket performance on April 16 to focus on gospel music

The PPO Online Pocket Performance Series, which runs from February to July 2021, is a program of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra that can be viewed from the PPO FB page and the CCP YouTube as platforms.

The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra stages its next series of online concerts billed as The PPO Spotlight: Virtual Pocket Performances to be streamed on April 16 at 8pm, Friday, through the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Website.

Program for the April 16 concert, which focuses on Gospel Music, features the following pieces such as God Will Make A Way by Don Moen to be played by Jayson Rivera (Clarinet); Potter’s Hand by Darlene Zschech to be performed by Joseph Frederick Regalario (Violin); Anima Christi by St. Ignatius of Loyola to be interpreted by Edgardo Silangcruz (Flute); Amazing Grace by John Newton to be rendered by Glober Calambro (Trumpet), Edwin Matias (Trumpet), Jay-Ar Mesa (French Horn), Ricson Poonin (Trombone), Jun Dela Peret (Tuba) and Elizalde Tolentino (Drums).
