PUP Sining-Lahi Polyrepertory to stream ‘The Odds in Time’ for free this May

In the 40th year of PUP Sining-lahi Polyrepertory, the resident theater organization of Polytechnic University of the Philippines will have a virtual presentation on the first phase (Unang Yugto: Ala Una) of “Dasdas”.

In the midst of the pandemic, student artists are entails to hardships and destitution nevertheless, choosing their passion is a priority and giving up is never a choice. The production is a reminder that resting is not a crime instead it’s a recess, a break that every human needs. It envisions to continue to influence, not just the PUP community but also new viewers and artists in this new platform, the virtual world. We aim to encourage and motivate people to take a break, breath, and smile in spite of the struggles we’re facing due to pandemic conditions.

In the 40th year of PUP Sining-lahi Polyrepertory, the resident theater organization of Polytechnic University of the Philippines will have a virtual presentation on the first phase (Unang Yugto: Ala Una) of “Dasdas”.

“The Odds in Time”, written by Mary Ann Guanlao and directed by Bea Vigilia, is about two friends who found themselves meeting again every Tuesday… online, despite their awkward parting of ways. 

The production ”The Odds in Time, to be live-streamed on May 21 & 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 9:00 PM respectively on PUP Sining-Lahi Polyrepertory’s Official Facebook page, and will be posted on YouTube.
