The Far Eastern University Center for the Arts announced that the Far Eastern University Bamboo Band (FBB) is slated to hold a concert, entitled “ASCEND: Reaching New Heights in Music”, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the FEU Auditorium.

“Ascend” is said to be a “celebration of musical passion and talent”, and will be led by the talented non-music members of the FEU Bamboo Band. The evening will also showcase special performances by the FEU Chorale, the FEU Drum and Bugle Corps (DBC), and guest artists: Marlexis Del Mundo on the saxophone and John Erin Gonzaga on the flute, both former FEU student artists; and Jhon Mark Isla on the trumpet — a proud FEU alumnus from the Institute of Arts & Sciences Class of 2018, former member of the FEU DBC, and the current Section Head at the FEU Center for the Arts.

“Ascend” will be under the supervision of the FEU Bamboo Band’s Artistic Director, Norbie Cads, and the creative guidance of Ysa Cads.
