DJs Mica (UK) and Alinep, who are both luminaries of Manila’s underground electronic music community, have joined forces to launch Sayaw Records — a non-commercial electronic music label based here in the Philippines.

To set their introduction in motion, they have brought together some of the country’s top electronic music producers for a 15-track compilation entitled ‘Sayawan Vol. 1’, which will be made available on December 11th.

Connecting listeners with today’s most exciting homegrown artists, the compilation will offer not only auditory pleasure but also an open hand for anyone who needs it.

Along with their resounding debut, the music label will also be launching a Sayaw Radio Show on Z Hostel Radio, a platform where they will dive deeper into getting to know the artists on the compilation, as well as reveal the musicians they will be collaborating within the near future.
