CCP Artistic Director Chris Millado said: “In the wake of yet another scandal that has ravaged the nation, artists once again, persist in picking up the shreds of our dignity and sing with hopefulness that all Filipinos finally get the graceful lives they deserve.” Through this surprise performance, CCP exemplifies its vision of making “art matters to every Filipino.”

Last year, CCP held its first “random act of culture”, at the NAIA Terminal 3, also to celebrate its founding anniversary, with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra performing for passengers in the departure area of the airport.
