This holiday season, Dia Maté teams up with comedy royalty Rufa Mae Quinto in “Ho Ho Ho” a cheeky Pinoy pop carol that flips holiday tradition with a whole lot of ho-ho-humor.
Blending Dia’s modern pop sensibilities with Rufa Mae’s iconic comedic flair, Ho Ho Ho offers listeners a mischievous holiday story with hot girl beats, flirty energy, and festive camp we all deserve.
Ho Ho Ho marks Dia and Rufa’s foray into holiday pop bringing the quality that they both celebrate in their artistry: the joy of camp. The story of the song revolves around Dia as a spicy angel and Rufa serving as campy Christmas conscience, clearly insinuating she knows what it’s like to be bad or good (and encourages Dia to be good for goodness sake!).
The duo initially met as co-contestants in the fourth season of the Philippine TV Series, Your Face Sounds Familiar which started airing last October 2025. As they got to know each other, clicked, and became close ever since, they decided on a fun way to celebrate the festive season through music.
Dia shared, “I had so much fun creating this Christmas track, and having Ate P-Chi[Rufa Mae] on it was a dream. She brought so much personality and humor into the song—sobrang saya ng collaboration namin.”
Rufa Mae added, The moment I heard the track, I knew it was something fresh, funny, and very festive, triple-F ng pasko, F-F Hooray for Christmas Day. Perfect for everyone who wants to celebrate the holidays with a little spice, a little nice, and a lot of ho-ho-ho! Kaya Ho ho hooray yay! From Rufa Mae!”
With its cheeky lyrics referencing gift checks, gingerbread hunks, pasaway confessions, and comedic ad libs, the track is primed to become a Filipino holiday party staple, festive and fabulously naughty, a track meant to be for fun and laughs which shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
Equal parts naughty and nice, Dia Mate and Rufa Mae Quinto’s “Ho Ho Ho” is a cheeky pop bop that proves this season is the grandest ho, ho, holiday: literally the season of giving! “MAEry Christmas ya’ll! Haepy haelidays – from Rufa Mae Agaen.”
