MONO8 Video Space is pleased to present two video works of emerging new media artist Luis Hidalgo in a limited online screening.
Hidalgo’s works Water and A Cigarette With Grandpa are available in MONO8 Video Space’s website until Oct 3.
Hidalgo (b. 1995, Manila) primarily works with video installations that challenge the viewer’s perspective in the way images are consumed. Often, he experiments by breaking the rules of composition in filmmaking, thus, presenting different ways to introduce overlooked narratives.
Hidalgo received his degree in Digital Filmmaking at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. Hidalgo had his first solo exhibition, I am Here, at MONO8 Gallery in 2019.
