RAMA HARI returns onstage, opens 2024 season of Alice Reyes Dance Philippines

After a highly acclaimed 2023 run, RAMA HARI returns onstage by popular demand, opening the 2024 season of Alice Reyes Dance Philippines.

The production holds the prestige of being the only collaboration that features the masterful works of five National Artists, Alice Reyes for Direction and Choreography, Ryan Cayabyab for Music, Bienvenido Lumbera for the libretto, Salvador Bernal for Production Design, and English Lyric Translations by Rolando Tinio.

Two alternate casts will be performing.

Rama: Arman Ferrer and Vien King. Sita: Karylle Tatlonghari, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez and Nica Tupas. Ravana: Poppert Bernadas and Jonel Mojica. Soorpanakha: Miah Canton and Raflesia Bravo. King Dasaratha: Audie Gemora. Kaikeyi/Gintong usa: Katrine Sunga and Marynor Madamesila. Kooni: Miah Canton. Lakshmana/Hanuman: Paw Castillo and Jon Abella.

Dancers:
Rama: Richardson Yadao and Ejay Arisola. Sita: Monica Gana and Katrene San Miguel. Ravana: Ricmar Bayoneta. Soorpanakha: Sarah Alejandro and Krislynne Buri. King Dasaratha: Lester Reguindin and John Ababon. Kaikeyi: Karla Santos and Katrene San Miguel. Kooni: Michaella Carreon and Sarah Alejandro. Lakshmana: Erl Sorilla and Renzen Arboleda. Hanuman: Renzen Arboleda and Dan Dayo. Gintong usa: Krislynne Buri and Sarah Alejandro.
