25th CCP Alternative Film & Video Tilt slated on November 13 to 15

The Cultural Center of the Philippines presents the 25th CCP Alternative Film and Video Competition (Ika-25 Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video) on November 13 to 15 at the CCP.

The competition features strictly independent works, including school-based works, and not produced for commercial screening in the four categories of Short Feature/Narrative, Experimental, Documentary and Animation.

Winners of the competition will be announced in the awards ceremony on November 15.

Cash prizes will be given to winners of the different categories. Special Awards will be given for Best Regional Entry and Best Entry for/on/by Children. Honorable mention may be awarded by the jury.

The Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video promotes Filipino independent filmmaking by giving recognition to the year’s most outstanding film and video artists. Now on its 25th year, it is also the longest-running independent film and video competition in Asia.
