Anok Yai honored as ‘Model of the Year’

The Model of the Year Award recognizes the global impact of a model who has dominated the industry over the last 12 months.

The British Fashion Council (BFC) announced that Anok Yai will be honoured as the Model of the Year at The Fashion Awards 2025 presented by Pandora (TFA), taking place on Monday 1st December 2025 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

TFA is a vital fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and spotlights the cultural power of fashion, its most iconic moments and the visionary talents pushing boundaries and redefining the industry.

She continues to inspire a global audience with her vision of beauty, artistry and representation, actively shaping the future of culture.

Anok Yai said: “Being named Model of the Year is such an honor. My journey – from Egypt to South Sudan to the U.S.  is one of resilience and community. This recognition is for everyone who’s ever seen their story in mine. Thank you for celebrating us.”
