Cecile Licad to perform all Chopin solo piano concert on Nov. 27 at Manila Polo Club

Cecile Licad will perform an all Chopin Solo Piano concert on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Manila Polo Club.  

Acclaimed Filipina Steinway pianist Cecile Licad will perform an all Chopin Solo Piano concert on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Manila Polo Club.  

Billed as Cecile Licad: I Love Chopin, the performance is presented by Philippine Airlines, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra Society, Inc. (PPOSI) and Childhope Philippines, Inc.  Proceeds of the concert will go to the beneficiaries of the said organizations.

PPOSI is a non-stock, non-profit organization whose advocacy is the welfare of the members of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), providing uniform, accessories and spare parts of musical instruments, scholarships for advanced degrees in music, and a gratuity fund for the retired members, among other concerns.

Childhope Philippines Inc. is a foundation that has cared for over 10,000 street children since 1989. Childhope provides holistic care to the street children – nutrition, health services through its mobile clinic and full time doctor, counselling through its psychologists and social workers, and education through its Street Education Program.

The much anticipated event is supported by Philippine Airlines, First Gen, HSBC, Steinway Boutique Manila, Inc. Ayala Corp., Megaworld Corporation, Malayan Insurance Company, Inc., The Peninsula Manila, Samsonite, and Danny Dolor.

She will be playing on the new Steinway B-211 piano.
