Hangar 18 to tour to The Philippines for the first time since supporting Silverchair in Manilla

HANGAR 18 is embarking on the IDKY ASIA PACIFIC TOUR in March which will see the band perform in The Philippine, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.

Hangar 18 will return to the Philippines in March 2018 to perform live shows in Manila. The new Zealand based band was last in Manila performing with Australian band Silverchair at the UP Theater in 1997.

Hangar 18 has a new album pending and already has major record label interested with working with them. The band worked with acts such as Toto, Everclear, Snoop Dogg, The Searchers, Bomfunk MC’s, The Presidents of the USA, and Collective Soul.

HANGAR 18 is embarking on the IDKY ASIA PACIFIC TOUR in March which will see the band perform in The Philippine, Hong Kong, Singapore and China. Shortly after this leg the band head back to Australia to follow up from their recent support tour with US band Everclear on their “So Much For the Afterglow” Anniversary tour.

IDKY, the band’s first release, was co-written by NZ superstar Jason Kerrison from OPSHOP fame (four times platinum selling NZ artist). The band also worked with Kiwi legendary musician Eddie Rayner from Split Enz & Crowded House fame who performed keyboards  on one of their songs from their upcoming new album.

HANGAR 18 topped the charts in Europe. IDKY went to number 3 on the European Euro indie charts, which monitors airplay from radio stations from 44 European countries. HANGAR 18 also achieved the following on radio charts in America: Elite 365 Radio USA – IDKY number 5; 365 Indie Radio USA – IDKY 18 number 7; Unsigned Headquarters USA – IDKY number 10; and Iron Waves USA – IDKY number 11.
