Killer Kin sings to make Rock ‘n Roll feel dangerous again

Prior to 2018, frustrated duo Mattie Lea and Chloe Rose wrote “ball-breaking, black leather sporting, soundtrack-to-your revenge songs.” This led to the eventual formation – in 2018 – of a band, after they recruited members willing to “burgeon and burn.”

Named Killer Kin, they’re self-described as “a screaming, sonic, rockin’ waltz that actually rolls”, garage punks claiming to be the descendants of Arthur “Killer” Kane that eye to make Rock ‘n Roll feel dangerous again.

It is exactly because of their notoriety for “untamed exhibitions” that the Killer Kin sates a “deep-desire for reprisal, retribution, revenge, and will cut the words from your motor mouth and brandish a blues that will make you want to bounce to the beat in your black boots.”

This 2021, the band will release their debut vinyl 45 called “Sonic Love” on Pig Baby Records, which will be followed up by a full length in early 2022.

If you want to know what “intensity” means, Killer Kin is one to watch.
