MONTAŃOSA FILM FESTIVAL slated on March 20–29

With this year’s theme, “Crossing Borders,” the festival is geared to dive into new creative efforts to open relevant avenues for discourse on the environment, health, peace, freedom, art, culture, heritage, political and social issues, and contemporary living, among others.

The summer capital of the Philippines is becoming the newest creative hub for promising independent filmmakers as the first MONTAŃOSA FILM FESTIVAL commences this month.

This new festival features ten (10) narrative and documentary films in competition, perfectly demonstrating the impressive talents and creative visions of the artists from the Cordilleras.

The MONTAŃOSA FILM FESTIVAL is set to happen from March 20–29, 2021. With this year’s theme, “Crossing Borders,” the festival is geared to dive into new creative efforts to open relevant avenues for discourse on the environment, health, peace, freedom, art, culture, heritage, political and social issues, and contemporary living, among others.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines, through its Office of the President, proudly supports the festival, and encourages everyone to watch and celebrate the many wonderful talents that the artists from the Cordilleras can offer.
