The religious musical, “NASAAN SI HESUS?” will be staged again in Metro Manila starting on November 19, 2017 at 7:30p.m. in a special invitational performance at the Little Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

“NASAAN SI HESUS?” is composed and produced by Lourdes “Bing” Pimentel, the wife of former senator Nene Pimentel, and the mother of Senate President Koko Pimentel. It is written and directed by Nestor U. Torre, who has collaborated with Mrs. Pimentel on other acclaimed musical like “Cory”, “Huwag Pumayag sa Dagdag Bawas”, “Pag-ibig sa Bayan” and “Buhay Isang Awit”.

“Nasaan si Hesus?” is being restaged due to the continuing relevance of its script and songs, which dramatize the real pressing problems that Christians face in today’s complicated world. They include issues and conflicts like teenage pregnancy, unjust working conditions for factory workers, men with two families, electoral reforms, hypocrisy in the parish, legal injustice and loss of faith even among some members of the clergy. The reality and relevance of the problems and solutions dramatized in the show has made it uniquely popular and inspirational through the years, with more than 80 performances all over the country.  Groups, Schools and Parishes interested in sponsoring a performance of “Nasaan si Hesus?” in their locality are invited to call Bing Pimentel at 0977-8177934.

The 2017 restaging of “Nasaan si Hesus?” topbills Bimbo Cerrudo, Russell Magno, Joannah Basanta, Zara Pagay, Paul Pareja, Honee Gipulle, Liza Schneider, Rain Gibbs, Crystel Campos, Rhoger Clarveria, Maricel Reyes, Faith Cabebe, Hirohito Ruiz, Jastine Molod, RR Efren, Rj Prado, Mabie Flores, Aljon Ubalde and Albert S. Jimenez. Lights are by Marin Esteva.
