Ry Rivers to release country debut, ‘Kiss A Cowboy’, on May 30

The track, set for release on May 30th, blends modern country storytelling with Ry’s signature soulful vocals, bringing a fresh perspective to the genre.

What’s it really like to fall for a cowboy? In his country debut, “Kiss A Cowboy,” singer-songwriter Ry Rivers explores the fantasy and reality of being in love with a cowboy who rides off into the sunset.

The track, set for release on May 30th, blends modern country storytelling with Ry’s signature soulful vocals, bringing a fresh perspective to the genre.

“With country music exploding onto the world’s stage, I think a lot of new fans are finding themselves drawn to the genre’s stories, romance, and everything that comes with the cowboy lifestyle,” says Ry Rivers. “This song plays with that idea and begs the question—what’s it really like to kiss a cowboy?”

Raised between the sandy shores of Pompano Beach and the farmland of Okeechobee, FL, Ry brings a unique edge to country music, blending down home meets country cool. His vocals soar over modern Nashville production, delivering a hook that lingers long after the song ends.

“Kiss A Cowboy” is available now for pre-save, coming to all streaming platforms May 30. The official music video – shot on his father’s farm outside of Okeechobee, FL – will follow. “Ry Rivers is such a dynamic artist and brings a new kind of perspective to country music,” states Dawn DeJongh, owner of Burning Ground Entertainment.
